On behalf of everyone at ArtSeed, I want to thank you so much for joining us at our 18th Annual Earth Week Art-a-thon! We had a blast being creative with this community on Saturday and hope you did too. We wouldn’t have been able to accomplish it without the support of our volunteers, artists, fundraisers, and sponsors. All our gratitude to those who helped—and more personalized thanks are coming soon!
While the event is over, the fundraising that keeps ArtSeed’s programs accessible to all continues. There’s still time to join or contribute to the Art-a-thon leaderboard and make a difference in the lives of vulnerable folks in the Bay Area and beyond. You have until May 1 to impact the results of our fundraisers’ race to the top and to help us make this our best year yet.

In addition, please let us know what you enjoyed and what could be improved for next year. Our evaluation form takes just a few minutes to complete and can be completely anonymous. And, to remind you, Art-a-thon is a kickoff for another great season of programming! Join us this weekend at Spring Open Studios and on May 15 for the Closing Reception of Heidi and Tanya’s exhibitions. Flyers with details are attached here.
Finally, we have just a few spots left for our Fine Arts Summer Intensive. This is ArtSeed’s pinnacle experience, a week-long camp for a small group of youngsters ages 8-18 and volunteers who will learn both experimental and traditional fine arts skills from mentoring artists. These keystone pieces will be showcased in a public exhibition alongside other works submitted, such as what you made at Art-a-thon! You can also be featured! We saw so much great art being made and brought home from Art-a-thon, and we hope you’ll consider submitting it for display here in our big Annual Open Call Presidio Exhibition.
