Moselle Mac, Intern

Bio: Moselle Mac is a senior at Ruth Asawa School of the Arts and an ArtSeed Intern through the California Lawyers for the Arts. When not updating the website or sending monthly newsletters (check your emails!), Moselle can be found baking, drawing, playing video games, or working on her insect collection. Much of her art is inspired by her experience as a first-generation Chinese-American and native San Franciscan. She is also drawn to the way science and art intertwine, as shown through her current series exploring the parallels between insects and humans.

ArtSeed Statement: “I first discovered ArtSeed through my 2021 summer internship at the CA Lawyers for the Arts, and I was immediately charmed by ArtSeed’s community and the dedication everyone had to bring art into the lives of young people. Through ArtSeed, I am able to meet artists from various backgrounds who encourage me to grow and think about art in new and exciting ways. As ArtSeed Youth Council’s President, I am excited to collaborate with people through upcoming outreach programs and our annual Art-a-thon. Don’t be afraid to reach out to me at moselle@artseed.org!”
